This was such a neat study for us! I broke it down between The Great Barrier Reef and the Out Back areas of Australia to keep the lessons basic enough for my twos and threes, while providing experiences that challenged my two four year olds. Hope you enjoy our work centers! We sure did!

Our Great Out Back Works

We explored pointillism and Aboriginal Artwork. Our first run was with unsharpened pencils and an outline of a boomerang and our “real” artwork was to create a design on a rounded rock with toothpicks and paint.
